Finca Samudra

Beautiful land has come our way and you are welcome to join us to live together in harmony, joy and peace in the lap of mother nature. We take care of 0.7 hectares of land and our aim is to grow as much food as possible in a permaculture organic way. The land is located on a cliff right on the shore of the Costa del Sol so you will enjoy magnificent views of both the sea and the hills, the sunset and the sunrise. There is no noise and light pollution so even though Finca Samudra is easily accesible, it feels like a place far away from society. The land has many mature fruit trees and is in need of lots of helping hands, love and cleaning up. We hope the land will be blessed with our and your good intentions, music, dancing, prayers, singing, heart sharings, authenticity, art and everything beautiful and positive.... under the stars... My partner and me spent many years in India where we felt deeply inspired by the teachings of the indian holy scriptures. We want to share some of the indian wisdom and traditions with anyone who seeks to live more authentically from the heart. For now we can only host volunteers in tents on the land. As soon as possible we want to build a simple community and sacred space where we will hold daily bhajan circles (devotional congregational singing) and aarti (offerings to the deities). Meals will be prepared in the house kitchen for now. Showering and toilet facilities will be very basic and outdoors.

Volunteers are welcome to stay for the minimum duration of one week. We would love help with the renovation works in the house, the building of the community spaces and work in the garden. 5 hours of seva (work) are expected from monday to friday. In exchange you can enjoy 3 simple meals a day from monday to friday. In the weekends volunteers can prepare their own food.

Finca Samudra is located at a walking distance from Maro village. Maro has attracted people from all over the world. People love the pristine beaches and sunny days. Events such as ecstatic dances, singing circles, yogaclasses, women and men circles,... are organized frequently by sweet people living in the area. The bus stop from where you can travel to lots of places is a 5 minute walk away.

We have a 7 year old daughter and families with kids are welcome to join us too. We believe in a healthy spiritual vegeterian diet and don't like smoking and alchohol.

We are now still in India and can host you from the 1st of February 2024.
